The Richest Man On Earth
Ask an average Joe on the road who is the richest man on earth, he would very likely say Bill Gates. For years Bill Gates has been undeniably the richest man on earth. I did a quick search on the internet just before I wrote this post. Bill Gates is still considered the richest man on earth. However, I read over the weekend a Malaysia local newspaper saying the New Man is now Mukesh Ambani, his personal wealth now stands at nearly 31 billion pounds.
According to the paper this man here is the new richest man on earth. I have not been able to verify the source. A search at forbes.com shows only the Aug 2007 listing:

Mr. Mukesh Ambani was only at the 14th position. How did he climb to 1st position so suddenly? Is it because of the increase in Indian Rupees?
The question now in my mind is when will the next richest man on earth be one who makes his money solely from blogging? :-)
