The Final End For The Ten Kings
In the book of Daniel, the King of Babylon saw an image in his dream that was symbolic of large world-class empires that would be in power for a while and then be conquered or replaced by another. The beginning is represented by the head, which is Babylon. Daniel let the king of Babylon know that he (the king) was that head of gold (Daniel 2:37-38). The obvious end of the world empires is symbolized by the ten toes. The toes of the feet of the image were of clay and iron, partly strong and partly broken (Daniel 2:41-42). Rome is represented as iron. The complex of nations containing the bloodlines of Rome are, of course, the nations of Europe. But what about the clay? The clay is the house of Israel (Jeremiah 18:6). For those religious leaders that think the country calling itself Israel is the house of Israel, this must seem very confusing. The country calling itself Israel today is, in fact, only the tribe of Judah (the Jews), and the tribe of Levi (the Levites). The other tribes of Israel are scattered west of the Euphrates River, many of them in Europe. The tribe of Reuben, for example, is located, for the most part, in Northern France. The tribe of Issachar, for the most part, settled in Finland. The ten nations will be the power base of the individual known as the beast at the time of the end. The ten toes of the image in Daniel are the same symbolically as the ten horns of the beast in Revelation (Revelation 13:1, 17:7). What happens to this end time power base?
“You saw till a stone was cut out without hands, which hit the image upon his feet [that were] of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken into pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that struck the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth” (Daniel 2:34-35). What is the stone?
The stone that the builders rejected has become the head of the corner (Matthew 21:42, Mark 12:10, Luke 20:17). The stone (or rock) is Christ (1 Corinthians 10:4). He was rejected by the standard religious leaders (the builders) of that day. Christ continues to be rejected by the standard religious leaders of this day. The end of man’s rule of this earth is described in the book of Revelation. The ten nations will be destroyed by Christ when he returns. Christ, the rock, will pave the way for the mountain of the Lord’s house.
In the last days the mountain of the Lord’s house will be established in the top of the mountains (Isaiah 2:2 and Micah 4:1). There will be no more war (Isaiah 2:4 and Micah 4:3).
Christ is the chief corner stone (Ephesians 2:20 and 1 Peter 2:6).
“…unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counselor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and peace [there shall be] no end…” (Isaiah 9:6-7).
