State Retirement Income Support

Posted by: guestwriter | Comments (0)

Are you a federal government retiree or employee? How would you like to earn extra income each month? You have unique skills that you can turn into extra monthly income. You can, too, and we want to teach you and help you enjoy your Government Retirement Income.

I am a government retiree and I have found out a way to earn extra income to supplement my retirement. Believe it or not, your government experience and skill and even your interesting hobbies can be utilized to earn income.

The average federal government retiree is currently receiving a pension from $1,500 per month to $5,000 per month depending upon their state and type of employment. This is generally only 50%-75% of their wages while they worked full time in their job. If you are either a government employee or retiree, will this be enough for you in your 20+ years of retirement? You may supplement this with some money that you put away in your 529 plan or may have some other funds and that is great, but what if you don’t or it is not enough? More and more of us are finding it difficult to survive let alone thrive without additional retirement income.

Unfortunately, the usual financial planner tells people and the contemporary thought is that a retiree will spend less each year while retired than they did while working. Actually, we are finding that they usually spend just as much in retirement as they did while working to maintain their life style. Moreover, when you are taking income from your retirement portfolio in years with low returns or losses, you are frequently compelled to dig into your investment principal, and you are compounding your investment losses.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have that extra income so that you don’t need to worry about such stuff? As I said before, I am a government retiree and I have found out a way to earn additional income to supplement my retirement. You have special skills that you can turn into additional monthly income. You can, too, and we want to teach you and help you enjoy your retirement.

We understand that your desiresare different from other retirees. While you most likely will have that pension check each month, expenses such as health care are rising faster than your check. Will you have enough money each month not only to survive, but thrive and enjoy your retirement dreams? Will you Run Out Of Money?

What’s the most effective way to make your cash last? Either spend even less than you are, or MAKE MORE Retirement Income. There’s no single investment or revenue generation method for retirees that will work in each situation. But if you start to make money from your own business, those worries can melt away. Here is a great way to get started: Elite-retirment-advice.com will point you in the right direction.

A majority of us, particularly students, would love to be able to read faster. But before retaining information, they have to go through the first stage of learning, which is reading. For many individuals who are short on time, speed reading has become a necessity. However, it’s not just the reading part that is important. Equally essential is for the reader to fully understand the words coming out from the book or paper. Here are some speed reading tips to help you read and comprehend faster.

1) Be Calm. If you’re in the stressed mode, it would be much more difficult to pay attention to your reading; hence, it would just be a lot harder for the information to sink in.

2) Know what you want. Focus on the areas that you really need to learn. Some people read all parts of a book, when all they need to know is a specific chapter. Know your priority. If you need to find out about a certain subject, go to the Table of Contents and search for the heading that best suits your need. If you need to learn more, then adjust accordingly. The important thing is to weed out the stuffs that you don’t currently need.

3) Words like “then” and “how” which give no information. More than 70% of the text we read gives no information. Examples are the words “the, or, and.” True communication requires them; when reading and ignoring them, they basically mean the same thing. They only serve to beautify, yet you can understand what you are reading even without them. These structure words are not that important.

4) Practice, practice, practice. As with everything in life, the more you practice it, the better you will get. Speed reading works the same way as everything else. Maintain a goal. Figure out how fast you can read, then create a plan to increase your ability. If you can read 200 words per minute, set a goal to read 250 words a minute. After accomplishing this feat, set a goal to read 300 words per minute. It may take some substantial effort, but it’s worthwhile. If this is your first time to set such a goal, read first those materials you are familiar with.

Carry on with more difficult ones as you progress. This way, you’re not overwhelming yourself with understanding different new words and at the same time developing your speed reading skills.

If you want to get better with speed reading, one of the best options is to try a lot of eye exercises for speed reading.

Belief Buster Kit - Product Review

Posted by: guestwriter | Comments (0)

NOTE: This is a review of the Belief Buster Kit. Click Here, if you’re looking for the Belief Buster Kit website.

Created by Aine Belton in early 2008, Belief Buster Kit is a downloadable information product consisting of a 102 page PDF file, a 20 minute guided visualization MP3, and a series of decent bonuses.

The goal of the Believe Buster Kit is to help you identify limiting beliefs and replace them with more supportive, and powering ones. It attempts to do this through instruction and a series of exercises.

So, does it succeed?

My opinion is that it does, nearly completely — with this caveat: you are highly unlikely to get any lasting benefit unless you actually follow the exercises and listen to the guided visualization.

It’s highly effective at replacing your limiting beliefs with empowering ones.

Click here to visit the Belief Buster Kit site.

Part 1 takes 17 pages to provide a good background of what beliefs are how you get them and how to bust through them. My opinion is that this could have been better distilled down to about half that.

Part 2 explores ways to identify your limiting beliefs and helps you become conscious of what you would like to change. It covers the major categories of beliefs and offers 11 exercises to help you integrate the material in this section. You will probably find yourself resisting many of the exercises. Beliefs are highly emotional and we typically get very defensive when anything attempts to shake them loose. I strongly suggest, however, that you push through that resistance and complete each exercise, diligently. I would have preferred to have seen the exercises presented in a numerical list, rather than in paragraph form. But this is a minor quibble. 22 pages.

Part 3 is fascinating. It actually presents ways for you to harness your blockages, that is things that get in the way of your accomplishing what you desire. It helps you identify related limiting beliefs and patterns and actually convert them into powerful support systems. 19 pages.

Part 4 teaches you how to replace the old beliefs with new empowering ones that are better aligned with your goals and desires. This short section is critical. It’s not enough to remove unsupported beliefs. You absolutely must replace them with better ones. The guided visualization MP3 does a very good job with this part. 4 pages.

Part 5 presents 9 techniques for strengthening those new beliefs in your daily life. This seems so closely related to part four that I actually feel they could have been combined. Everything I said about parts 2 and 4 applies, here, too. 13 pages.

Part 6 offers tips for creating a paradigm shift. While I agree with the value of creating paradigm shifts, I don’t feel this section adequately addresses it. But, it does provide a nice overview and introduction to the idea. I think you’ll want to look elsewhere if you want help in creating a paradigm shift in your own life. 9 pages.

Part 7 is probably my least favorite section, but I can see others liking it well enough. It talks about creating a spiritual connection between you and your higher self. It’s not that I am not a spiritual person. I am. And, I believe in the concept of creating that connection. But, as in part 6, I think you’ll need to look elsewhere to really do much with this concept. 7 pages.

CONCLUSION: I highly recommend this product. It’s not perfect. But if you read the PDF, put time and energy into the exercises, and listen to the guided visualization on a regular basis, you will be shocked at the positive changes in your life. I don’t always like the WAY the author explains things, but in the end, it’s still very powerful stuff that I haven’t seen anywhere else.

While I have minor quibbles with the PDF, I have no complaints, at all, with the MP3. It’s something you have to experience to appreciate. It’s pleasant and very powerful. And, at only 20 minutes, it’s easy to fit into your day. You can listen to for a quick break and finish feeling like you’ve a restful, rejuvenating nap. I believe it is highly effective in bypassing the conscious critic to communicate more directly with the subconscious mind. Still, the audio is not intended to be listened to, on its own. It will be most effective after you have read the PDF and follow the exercises.

How Clear Limiting Beliefs

Posted by: guestwriter | Comments (0)

Magic Treasure Map:
… Tips, hints, and product reviews for being Happy and Successful
__________

Before we start talking about how to clear limiting beliefs, I think it’s important to understand the VALUE of limiting beliefs. In other words, WHY do we have them? What’s the intent of these beliefs?

And, to understand that, you need to accept that YOU are responsible for every one of your beliefs. You created them, yourself, though seldom consciously. And, one more thing: YOU never do anything with the intent of harming your self. So, every limiting belief you have originated with a positive intent. That is, an intent to benefit you in some way.

A limiting belief that says you are poor at math may have originated as a reaction to one or more embarrassing experiences related to math or one or more disparaging remarks made by someone important to us. The belief that you are poor at math might have begun with a positive intent to avoid future embarrassment or disappointment. If you believe you’re not good at something you tend to not try and therefore feel you can’t fail at it.

In the extreme, with a person who commits suicide has come to the belief that death is preferable to living. The positive intent is to avoid pain.

There is always a positive intent.

The thing is, what might have been appropriate and beneficial at the time the belief began is not always appropriate here and now. You are not the same person you were back then. You are older, stronger, wiser, you have different needs, different goals. The original positive intent of those old beliefs is no longer being achieved.

Understanding that key point is the first step in clearing limiting beliefs.

Have a dialogue with yourself. You might even ask yourself what the original intent was for such a belief. When you ask such a question, you are almost certain to receive some kind of answer. Just accept it. Then, you can point out to yourself that, while that might have been appropriate at the time, it’s actually a comforting the opposite, now. And then, ask yourself for help in replacing the old limiting belief with a more empowering one that has the same original positive intent.

Another interesting technique to clear limiting beliefs is to imagine your self finding those beliefs as some physical object inside some imaginary place that represents your brain or your soul or your memories. You might imagine them as videotapes, or DVDs, or paper files, or anything else that has meaning for you. Then, you imagine taking the memory and destroying it, in some way. Maybe you melt it, or burn it, or scribble it out, or erase it. It doesn’t matter, as long as it represents destroying the memory.

Do that for each limiting belief. You may want to identify the belief by giving it a name or description. You may want to think about the problems that belief has given you over the years. If that is difficult, however, is not even required. Instead, you could imagine an unlabeled limiting belief and not even worry about what it was. You simply destroy it, and move onto the next one and destroy it, over and over again, until you can imagine that the storage of limiting beliefs is empty.

Depending on the level of believability you can bring to your imagination, and depending on how intense the emotional feelings are during the process, you might be successful at completely removing or at least diminishing the intensity of those beliefs in a single session. Or, you might need to go through this exercise daily or weekly until you notice they are gone or are no longer controlling your life.

One other quick and easy technique when you recognize that a limiting belief is hampering you, in some way, is to have another quick dialogue with your inner self. You might start by acknowledging that you recognize the limiting belief is having an effect. You might then simply thank yourself for bringing it up and that you have considered it and have decided it doesn’t really apply to this particular situation. Then, give yourself permission to bring it up again at some future time.

It might seem silly to have these conversations with yourself or to imagine your beliefs as physical objects, but it can be a very powerful way of communicating with and reprogramming your subconscious mind.
